1975 Norton Commando 850 MK 3 Electric Start in Rowletts, KY

The rear brake was fitted with a new stain less m/cyl, and stainless pistons in the rear caliper, also with a new genuine brake line. Tires are good front and back, and the wheel rims are in great shape. The rear wheel has stainless spokes. The rear fender had a little split, so I fitted a new genuine one. The engine, gearbox and primary were all serviced. The engine runs well, and starts easily on the electric starter, which is fitted with heavy leads, and drives the engine powerfully. The ignition has been upgraded to an electronic type with a single coil, and a Mikuni carb fitted for smooth easy running. No fuel leaks or going out of tune anymore. Gearbox is very smooth and quiet. Charging system is working well, and the bike has a new hi output sealed AGM battery.The chrome on the bike is very good overall, and presents really well. The paint has only minor blemishes, with one small bump on top of the tank, that is not overly off putting, but I feel I should mention it. Overall the presentation is really good, and very acceptable for a bike that is intended to be ridden.All electrics are working correctly, with new indicators, dash lights, assimilator, etc, as required.The bike rides well on the road, shifts nicely, and has good power.
